It is important to point out that the automobile sector has been able to re-activate during this month, in part due to the very intense promotion that the Port Administration has been doing together with Amports de Mexico, the automobile terminal.

The 125 vessels attended during January, represented a 19% increase, being the containerships the most common ones.

For all the maritime terminals in Altamira, the first month of 2010 has been very positive, helping the consolidation of the Port as guarantee of the reliability in its operations, allowing it to keep its constant growth.
