The General Coordination of Ports and Merchant Marine dependency of the Ministry of Communications and Transports, through Administración Portuaria Integral de Altamira continues impelling the industrial development in the south of Tamaulipas. Today 17 of October the Port of Altamira was host of the ceremony of inauguration of the company Mexico Carbon Manufacturing S.A. of C.V. of Japanese origin, dedicated to the smoke black production and that is subsidized by Bridgestone the company number one in the world in manufacture of rims.

In an extension of 42,5 hectares located in the Industrial Park of the Port and with an investment of 850,5 million weights, it was inaugurated the plant before representatives of this company and civil employees of API Altamira, as well as authorities and industralists of the conurbada zone that were present at the beginning of one of the projects with greater investment in Altamira and Tamaulipas. This plant will produce 35.000 tons of black of smoke to the year.

Mexico Carbon Manufacturing S.A. of C.V. it has decided to take advantage of the advantages the Industrial Port of Altamira, that by its extension is one of greatest of Latin America and by its location and infrastructure he is the one of greater perspective of development in our country.

Turned the commercial window of Mexico towards United Europe, Asia and Estados nowadays, the Industrial Complex of Altamira continues its growth by means of the attraction of national millionaire investments as as much foreign, which means benefits for the economy of the zone and the state in general.
