The Port Emergency Central Station is an integrating concept of security, focused to quickly attend emergencies in the Industrial Port Complex of Altamira.

It is constituted by a fire-fighting station, a pre-hospital unit, a commando center and a training area. All this in 1.32 hectares.

In order to offer immediate attention, it has the following equipment:

• A moto-bomb truck with capacity for 6 firemen.
• A tanker of 3.100 gallons.
• An ambulance type II, for attention and transfer.
• An ambulance type III, for stabilization and transfer.
• Monitoring System
• Confined Space Rescue Equipment.
• Jaws of Life.
• Radiation detecting equipment.
• Toxic and Explosive Gas detecting equipment.
• Thermal camera.
